how to beat heisman difficulty

I can play close games with heisman difficulty... but if im using even teams, or the worse one...i generally always lose.

running the ball or passing the ball...it seems like my guys arent making plays, and theirs are.

any tips or play suggestions for me? im willing to try just about anything.

I have tweaked my sliders in AA to the point where ranked #1 vs #2 went:
1st quarter 0-0
2nd quarter 0-3
3rd quarter 3-3
4th quarter 6-10
The most fun I have EVER had playing NCAA or MADDEN, it felt so realistic.
My point is that you should use your sliders to make the game the way YOU want to play it.

im playing an online dynasty with default heisman difficulty.

i am northern illinois, and i have to play alabama.

how could i possibly beat them?

Honestly, you can't and shouldn't. Not if it is year one of your dynasty. That said, turnovers and special teams are how you pull off the upset. Return a Kick or two and force a few turnovers. You could at the very least make it a game that way.

Run the ball a whole lot, and surprise them on first down with a pass every now and then, when in shotgun on 3rd down, run a draw play, but keep surprising them to build momentum up for you, and when in the lead, put the clock on conservative and play smart. When playing Heisman and the CPU, the key is to be one step ahead and smarter than them to beat them with any team, although it may not be realistic as the guy above me quoted.

Don't try to throw the ball down field a lot. Stick to short passes and runs mixed in. Catch the defense off by throwing quick passes and just look for the first receiver open.

Chew clock and run the ball. Get a stop or two and you should be in great position to win.
