Hey guys, what are you using as your base play for your custom playbook?

Right now I'm using Wisconsin because of all of the run and play action. Wish there were more zone blocking run plays though. Really loved Denver's playbook in Madden for that reason.

i WISH you could use the generic Pro formation, that would be ideal for me.

i did like you did and went with wisconsin, but after a serious nail biter against fresno st. last night, i think i may have come to the conclusion that there is to much PA for me in the playbook.

guess it's time to go back to the ole drawing board.

thank goodness it's customizable!

My biggest problem is getting caught up in using shotgun play after play and I forget about the I Form and Ace formations.

i used navy's
not because of their ground game
but because they had ver few formations already in their book

Alabama is a very nice base playbook. Im biased and use TTU for the wild raider and then make like a run heavy playbook from it.

Boise State might have a good base book too.

Since it looks like you use Cinncy, take a look at ASU's. Nice combination of Pistol and Shotgun for your run game. But not sure what your play style is so..

I used FSU's, but I completely re did the playbook. I only chose FSU so I would know kinda what too base the Multiple Playbook on.

After 3 years of coaching and moving and tweaking my playbook, I think I want a whole new outlook. I am going to have to look at my new team for year 4 before I make it, but I might try adding the Pistol and see how I do.

I use Oregon's as a base since that's what I used in NCAA 11, then I removed some shotgun formations and added six pistol formations [Bunch,and full house to name 2] for some power running and then added in Gator Heavy because I've got some decent sized running QBs. I'll probably go back later and add in some i-formation sets, I've got one ace set.

I used VT, but only b/c that's my team. I subbed in a lot of bunch plays so i can tell if the opponent is in man or zone, then run the option or slants depending.
