What are the purpose and benefits of Achievements/trophies?

They are an extra incentive to play. You don't get anything from them really. For PS3 they are called trophies. I like to collect trophies so I try and get as many as I can. I find it fun to collect them.

Just something to shot for. If I ever loose internet or something, or dont feel like playing my dynasty, I usually just mess around and go for trophies.

Has anyone else got the Tire Fire Offense ( I think it's called that) trophy yet?
I thought it would take awhile to get but I wound up getting this in 9-0 ugly online game.

i believe its the one where you have to win the game without scoring an offensive touchdown but i could be wrong

I just set the qtrs to 1 min and just got a field goal and won

Play with two less-than-stellar offenses in the snow. That's how I did it. I beat Navy with Army 10-7, both touchdowns being scored during fumble recoveries.
