That's probably my favorite one as well, despite the crazy effects of the momentum meter. I played a game a few weeks ago and was amazed at how much more fun I had with it than NCAA 12. I took Tennessee on the road to Blacksburg and the crowd was rockin'. It's a shame that the atmosphere in a 5 year old PS2 game feels and sounds better than that of a current PS3 game. Oh well.

Re: NCAA 2004

EA has mind control over some of you fans I have noticed.

All these complaints about this gen EA football games and ya'll still buy them. This gen sucks for EA and that is a fact. They just can't get their games up to par with Last gen, and that is a shame.

May as well stop being in denial fans, go back to your PS2 and have fun playing your games again. Thats what I'm doing and its saving me tons of money.

Re: NCAA 2004

Are there updated, 2011 season named rosters for these old PS 2/X-Box NCAAs? Does NCAA Football 11 for the PS 2 (the last NCAA to be made on the LG consoles, I believe) have FCS teams?

FCS teams and better gameplay (if named rosters were still available for these LG titles) alone would be enough to make the switch IMO.

My goodness! I decided to go along with you guys and put in 2004 and chose UCLA against Kansas State.

I lost 24-17 (8 minute quarters, heisman). Eli Roberson and Darren Sproles are just a lethal combo in this game. Sproles carried the ball 22 times for 101 yards and Roberson ran for a 33 yard score after I put 8 men in the box and just took off.

I totally forgot about the kicking meter. I love it!

Re: NCAA 2004

By far, my most fond memories of the Ncaa game was playing as a created cup cake team with '04'.

I even remember the result of my first season with that team. I went 6-5, and was invited to the "Boise Bowl" [if memory serves] and played vs....Boise St. Lost the bowl game in a tight battle. Something like 24-14. Had lots of fun with that game!

Humanitarian Bowl. It still exists today.
