he might have been using the strafe button and didn't let go, so it ended up pitching the ball after the pick. I've done that a few times.

I thought I had the luckiest win in an online game ever, but I think you win.

I had a game of the Show were I was up 2-1 in the bottom of the 9th, and the guy had 1st and 3rd with 1 out, hit a long fly ball onto the warning track, and I was like ok, whatever, we're tied, I'll chuck it into 2nd cuz I clearly had no chance at home. He sent the guy on 1st back to the base and tagged and I baaaarely tagged him out at 2nd one microsecond before the guy touched home and I won.

THAT was much luckier than me though. Even better is that he didn't go into the fall on the ball animation. I don't get to advance a lot of fumbles because the CPU-controlled guys just fall on top of it instead of trying to pick it up, though I guess you still would've had time to run more plays with 28 seconds left.

A wise man once said... "Luck is the residue of design"... Unfortunately, that doesn't apply here at all.

But I would have loved to see some emotion on that fumble recover and touchdown to win the game.... I mean you would think right?....

I thought that was a bug when I watched it the first time but then you said you were playing online and I had to laugh. I press the wrong button a lot though normally when I'm about to get sacked and I throw to the wrong guy, but I dont think I have ever done something like that :P.

That looked like something you would see in one of those movies like Angels in the Outfield where the ball magically comes out of his hands like there was some unseen force on the field knocking it out.
