Shutdown CBs DO exist!

Meh its his dynasty.. if he wants a freshman CB who is perfect, whose to stop him... I mean.. I kinda do something similar.. I had a Preseason All American DT who was coming into his Junior year. Lead the country in sacks too. (and in a 3-4? sounds crazy. It happened) Anywho, he had a whopping rating of... get this... 71!!!! .... So he was statistically the best DT in the country. Destroyed Double teams.. and he was a 71... so I bumped him a bit. I thought it was fair..

But to do it to a freshman that hadnt seen the field? Meh...

I do my own "in-season progression." If a certain player is just tearing it up week after week, I have no problem bumping him up a few points.

Also if a returning player with a low-ish overall wins an award or has a ridiculous year, I have no problem bumping them up potentially 10 points.

Doesn't seem like it would make a difference, but it stops all those stupid quick slant routes, and lets the CB use the sideline to his advantage, like real football. Only one game, but hoping my CB can have a season like Revis did in '09, shutting down lots of top WRs.

I do, but do I really need to? I'm only 2 seasons into my dynasty and there is already 4 93+ mcv freshman, so I'm guessing they're pretty common.

Whose to say he doesn't have bunch in his dynasty? Also who cares? I mean... Maybe these are all the kids of Deion Sanders that he didn't know he had...
