Eh, whatever. My downfield passing is exponentially better when I use this method. Before I tried this I was completing maybe 10% of my deep passes. Using L2, I'm probably at 40-50%

Seems like too many people are experiencing a difference to be lying. I've been here long enough to see posts like this disproved quickly, but there have only been one or two people that have tried it that, like yourself, are claiming it to be a placebo affect.

my friend (does not have an OS or xbox live) has known about this for awhile.. he told me about it about a year back and it has worked. when everyone is bitchin' about super LBs i figured they knew about it. hmm.

I finally tried it out myself, and I agree it feels different. You definitely see another animation. I still need to practice it some, and hopefully get some over the middle opportunities. There is definitely something to this though.

not calling anyone a liar, if guys wanna get better passing results, try stepping up in the pocket right before the ball is thrown, the L2 thing on ps3 is very minimal, after maximum passing was introduced then removed without warning, we test it out just hoping that it returns, its not back, at least on ps3 its not.

Definitely disagree on it being placebo effect. I've been playing around with it for a while now in practice and I can complete throws at certain trajectories that I'm not able to replicate without using L2. I'm really looking forward to playing with this more.

Testing it out on practice mode right now.

Running a post into the middle with the linebackers and safeties in a zone.

Bullet then bullet+l2 and so on. I notice a significant difference in the trajectory of the ball. It's not even close to the same animation.

I don't get the placebo comments unless it's only a practice thing.

Even easier to tell. All out blitz and you run verts. Practice and the difference is clear.
