Online Play

I played a guy online today and he was Florida St. I was Minnesota. He kept running the same play over and over again. It was a run, Goal line, Play. It seemed that no matter what I did, I couldn't stop it.

The end score was 51 - 50 me. I only won cause he played terrible defense. I would use a 4-3 blitz, zone, man to man, 3-4 blitz, zone, man to man, a nickle dime, prevent, goal line, and even straight up punt blocks and fieldgoal blocks.

He would always score on the first run too, and if he didn't he would just hurry up and do the same play and he would always succeed. If I jammed the middle he would just sprint outside and no one could catch him. The only time he didn't get past me was when I guessed which way he was running. I'm normally not bad at this game, I always play on Heisman and use terrible teams (EMU this year) and I do good against the CPU, So it's not that. I was on offense for over 15 minutes of the game out of 20. That just shows how fast he was scoring.

Can anybody tell me how to stop the run or if you know of the exact play he is doing and know how to counter it. Please I need help.

I don't think it was a specific play and he knew he could exploit it on me. I just think he randomly did it and realized it worked every time on me.

EDIT: No it was not the Maryland formation either.

Goal line Defense maybe. If you pick the wrong way though it's an automatic touchdown. I've been having some trouble stopping people online too. I have a decent record too 23-10.

Just lately it's been really hard to stop the run online. All out blitzes rarely work.
