I have the XBOX version and I'm sick of the lock ups. It seems that they occur most when I pause the game for any length of time (I'm talking about 2-3 minutes). Inevitably, when I return to the game, it locks up on the first play.

yep. The only way that problem's ever going to go away is if you send in your xbox and get it 'fixed'. That's what ea will suggest, even though the problem is only with their games.

I've heard people say that they did that and it did fix the problem.

Also, if you want to commit a crime, and most likely ruin your box, you could always mod your xbox and put the game on your hdd.

Not true, this is a microsoft thing. It happens with other games too. Just check out the ESPN forum and you will see many people have the problem with their game too.

I'm starting to really get aggravated. I just had my second lockup of the day. What is supposed to be wrong with the XBOX? Does the PS2 version have the same problem?

My PS2 has froxe once in 160 or so games. Thank god casue last year was i nightmare. I feel for u guys

yeah I know but other companies make games that don't ever have the dde so why can't ea? They could fix the problem on their end without making the customers ship their box in or get a new one.

The dirty disk thing has guaranteed that I will be going to the PS3 when it comes out. I don't care if it is Microsoft's first console. The PS1 NEVER did this [censored you naughty boy]!!!

Well....MY ps1 and plenty of others had soemthing wrong w/ the motor and you'd have to place the console upside -down to get it to work. But it still worked.
