RTG Basic Questions

OK, so I just jumped into RTG and have taken a scholarship at Oklahoma as a QB. Since there is essentially no instruction booklet, I have a couple of basic questions...

1. How do you develop your ratings? Right now, my throwing power is around 69. Do I use skill points to increase those?

2. What are the purchasing of skills for? Are they one-time improvements?

3. How does the position battle work?

Thanks in advance.

you develop your ratings by practicing and getting skill points and playing in games and getting skill points, there are 2 different types of skill upgrades, career boosters and one game boosters-they are labeled when you hover each one, thats how you improve your ratings

OK, so it's not like MLB 2K11 My Player or MLB The Show Road to the Show where you use points for specific skills?

Nope. You just buy boost packs that boost certain skills. Which ones you can boost varies from week to week.

I have noticed also that it really makes no difference at what string you start at in a postition. Even starting your freshman year as a 5th string, you can be starter by mid season at the latest. Just depends on how well you do during and how often you practice.
