Ok so im a wide receiver and I decided to go to USC since they do have Matt Barkley. Well I've played 4 games in my freshman year and they run the ball on average 41 times to the startin HB. Not to mention the back up gets some carries. Matt Barkley is averaging 8 throws a game. Seriously?

And if you were a running back, they would passing all the time. This has been beaten to death but I do agree something needs to be fixed.

Sadly this ridiculous behaviour is there for years now - goes back to old ps2 or xbox times...

You're better off that any time they actually run a pass play to force them to run the hurry up. That's the only way you'll get it right or the amount of touches that you want.
