I can't decided which mode to play on. (btw I mostly play on offline Dynasty) I was playing on AA with adjusted sliders but I still find 8/10 games too easy because the cpu's offense is too predictable and unaggressive, the Qb holds the ball too long, and the defense doesn't adjust...but the brief streches I have played on Heisman I find myself getting annoyed by the juiced LB's and DB's. There is also the the AI knowing your play b4 u call it but that is secondary to psychic, leaping LB's and psychic DBs.

Suggestions?

Every mode is too easy because the CPU defensive AI doesn't put more men in the box against 3-4 WR sets, even if you've been continuously running the ball. Stupid AI.

AA with custom PB's for the CPU works wonders for me. I gave them defensive PB's for the 3-4 & 4-3. When you play and they don't send jailhouse blitzes the game is wonderful.

I had my CPB's jacked up due to the patch and didn't give CPU controlled PITT a CPB.

Guess what happened? I whooped them. Their offense was brutal due to the stupid *** option read and such. It was a HUGE difference than when I gave the CPU custom PB's.

Back to spending 5 hours to make a few CPB's for the CPU.

It sucks but better than the alternative.

How do you give them custom PBs?

Just use two controllers and select CPB's for them

Then you move the controller to the middle when the game starts.

I have to kick/receive with the CPU team for one play...which doesn't matter to me

I do the same thing, and it makes a big difference, not as much as I would like, but AA is at least playable now. The CPU QB still makes some stupid decisions but theres only so much we can do to overcome poor programming.

Heisman. I just can't get the CPU to be competitive on AA. The only game I've ever lost on a season on AA with the Akrons was against Ohio State, and that was only by a FG in OT... the Akron Zips going 11-1 and almost beating Ohio State simply shouldn't happen.
