Anyone else play the D-Line on Defense?

I'm just wondering how many people play as a D-Lineman when controlling the defense? I primarily play as a DT in normal situations unless I call a CB or safety blitz where I will control the blitzer.

If you do play with the D-Line have you noticed that you frequently get "sucked" into the O-Line in order to create holes for the CPU's running game? I've been kind of noticing it a lot in the games I've been playing lately. Its as if the CPU always controls your players first step or two, and will literally pull you in a certain direction before you even interact with the O-Line. Is this something that could possibly fixed with sliders?

I've actually noticed this as well the few times that I control the LBers as well. I've noticed that it also happens a lot on blitzes when the CPU wants to cut block you, you will definitely get sucked into that cut block.

Is this just still remnants of the "suction blocking" that EA got rid of or just toned down? I never really played D-Line in previous versions of NCAA, so I don't really know how it compares.

If you don't make 'your move' very quickly you will be sucked into an animation 99% of the time. Other than that I don't get sucked into an unwanted animation to often.

Yea if you are quick off the line it doesn't happen very frequently

I play D-line. Usually the DE on the weaker side, I change players to move away from the TE or FB if possible.

I almost always play as D-Line, whether it be the DT or DE. I hardly ever play as a LB because it's easy to hit a receiver in the middle of the field.

This year I exclusively play DT. I used to love playing DE but I feel that half the time the end flies off on his own weird pattern over which I have no control. It sucks.

80% of the time I play as a D-Linemen, most of the time DE.

i used to always play DE except when i was blitzing. But its annoying getting sucked into an animation. Now i usually control the MLB and stay with them for both pass & run. Every now and then i'll control a nickel back or safety if theyre blitzing but for the most part now i control the MLB.
