Help Stopping a Defense

Hey I am an avid ncaa 12 player, and I am in a OD with some friends. I am having the hardest time stopping their offenses. They run 5 wide, and in particular they run Buckeye Verticals. No matter what I do I can't stop them from getting open. I have tried almost every defense. PLEASE SHED KNOWLEDGE AND HELP ME!!

Find an OD where they dont run verticals all the time.

quarter or quarter 3 deep... cover 2 man or something similar, press coverage... control the MLB and take away the middle routes. You need to be able to manually play pass defense with the player you are controlling to have a chance to intercept or knock down anything thrown to the guys running the verts in the middle seams. You can also coverage audible and either key on the slot receiver if he is the one hurting you, and/or squeeze your zones to the middle to help your safeties over the top.

Quit the online dynasty? I'm with trivial's reply though I'll definitely keep yubtub's advice in mind.

Instead of quitting because you cant stop something, i find it rewarding to shut B.S like this down. 5 wide verticals is not that hard to stop. Are you on PS3 or Xbox?

Run a man cover 1 and take the middle zone guy a cover underneath the person they throw to the whole game.
