I also noticed a problem with the "spinning" catch, especially on bubble screens. Sometimes receivers will spin around while catching the ball which 1. Isn't necessary, just catch the ball normally and 2. Nerfs any chance for YAC because the spin eliminates momentum. Its most prevalent on bubble screens, making them effectively useless. I'm gonna get some videos on them to show.

For whatever reason, since the patch, Bubble Screens have become quite useful. I only run into the spinning animation in one or two formations and usually it is because of the throw. If you lead the throw correctly (stick left when throwing right, right when throwing left), they will usually catch it on the run and get up field.

The blocking is still awful, but you can usually get one and get 4-5 yards, which is the intended purpose of a bubble screen. I went back and put all the bubble screens back in my custom playbooks and I use them often.

Can we add to the Ugly?

The numerous bugs and flaws every year, pre and post patches. i.e. Tendency bug, transfer failed bug, freezing, custom play books, no-huddle, player and coach progression, uniform degredation, etc.
