Yep, i've signed a couple of extentions at Ohio State and even after winning a national championship the final year of the contract it resets from the 100% I was at, back to 57% for the new contract...makes no sense.

1) I watched a team do it all day Saturday. It was OK.

2) I resigned and dropped from a 77% to a 58%. Just to make sure it wasn't the shellacking Alabama gave me I looked at everyone else who signed a new contract and it was 58%

That's what happened to me. I may be a isolated case.

It's very true about the job security. And unfortunate also. If you have 100%, with a new contract the goals change yes, but you should have a boost. Maybe go from 100% to 80%? If you are topped out, win the NC, then renew you should stay 100%, at least mid 80's.

#1. Weren't you able to motion a receiver into the backfield in the previous generation? Also, what happened to yo yo motion? Have a flanker motion to the tackle and then reverse direction. Now you have to let him go all the across the formation.

Motion is when one player is moving laterally when the ball is snapped. Moving more than one player before a snap is a shift. Any number of players can shift, but all 11 players must get set prior to a player going into motion or the snap.

I misread #2... I thought you meant you signed with a new team. The resigning with the same team thing annoys me, too. Going from winning a BCS championship at Western Michigan, resign, and drop to 50ish% security.
