Ok, so I was at Arizona State for three seasons as offensive coordinator. I had 14-0, 10-4, and 8-5 seasons. One national championship, one Alamo Bowl win, and one Sun Bowl loss. I'm now the head coach at Illinois. How hard will to get a HC offer from a team like Auburn or Tennessee?

Just keep racking in those bowl wins, and you'll get a better HC job, soon paterno retires and maybe you can take up the Penn State job.

Question. How hard is it to get the job at your alma mater?

It should take at least 5 years or so. That's if you win a lot.
