Looking to start an offline dynasty... Tendency glitch work around?

I'm about to start an offline dynasty, and have a few questions about the incoming recruit tendency bug:

1. Does it effect sim stats? In other words, will I be good if I just "edit out" the glitch for the games I play?

2. What positions does it have the most effect on? I know I definitely want scrambling QBs to scramble, but what about offensive linemen, or even WRs? I guess what I'm asking is, what positions would I have to edit, and what ones would I be okay with if I just left them alone?

I swore I read somewhere that they fixed the tendency bug in one of the numerous patches..... but I might just be going crazy.

They "fixed" it for year 1 if and only if you start with a pre-patch roster file. I started a new dynasty days ago and the patch does nothing to fix the tendencies.

Yeah I swear you have to jump through hoops just to enjoy all a sports video game has to offer these days.

But no, as Isura noted, the bug is still there for in coming recruits.
