How do you stp WR Mid screens ?? ?

I have a buddy that runs the WR mid screen all the time. Sometimes man coverage will stop but alot of times he breaks it , any ideas ?

you can start by stop blitzing. it takes advantage of your DL's and LB's getting up field in a hurry. then he's got 3-4 players blocking your 3 DB's. It's got big play written all over it.

you can also start recruiting DL's with good AWR and JMP that'll get up in the air and knock the passes down while getting after the QB.

Or just sit your best backer in zone.

I usually run cover 1 man/zone on teams that run the option or try to use screens.

I usually set my defensive end to QB Spy or contain. It has been working for me.

WR middle screen is money play in the game. OTOH bubble screens and HB screens are completely useless. Oh and how about adding a HB middle screen to more than 3 playbooks.

Or you could add the HB mid screen to whatever playbook you want.
