No questions, just statements.

Your definition of improvement is an opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

When people start grabbing and grasping at semantics(myself included), it's better to drop it, and agree to disagree, move on, vs claiming any sort of victory.

Actually, I really don't think EA is marketing the trajectories as new, so, I'm not sure how this all started or where it's all going.

They are marketing it as re-doing, taken from their blog.

The first change we made was to re-do our pass trajectories.

So, EA and you agree, they are re-doing the trajectories, not making them new.

And for all it's intents and purposes, I agree with Big, too.

And if doesn't bother you how EA market's the game, you should be fine with my definition as well.

Good, glad that is resolved.

They are marketing NEW trajectories, watch the gameplay trailor. Now, through argumentation we have found that this is incorrect they have only 21 NEW trajectories. This started by me addressing the fact that 23 trajectories are not NEW to the game but are just improvements. Through our discussion I have realized that new trajectories are not new to the game but there are 21 NEW pass trajectories (based off my definition of NEW, which I think most would agree with).

I cannot agree with you that they are advertising the redoing of pass trajectories because their gameplay trailor advertises their are 23 New pass trajectories. And as I have explained all of these trajectories are not new to the game.

If you are content with my definition of NEW being an opinion then I cannot argue with you. I cannot drop it, I cannot agree to disagree, I stand by definition. I will also not claim victory as this is not my goal. I will instead listen to people who object of my claim that 23 passing trajectories are not new to NCAA football. I, myself, through our discussion have realized my initial thoughts were wrong. Now understanding their are 21 NEW passing trajectories in NCAA football.

I don't agree that either of us are grabbing at semantics. We are both trying to understand what the term NEW really means by disagreeing with each other. participating in arguments allows us to realize the truth behind our claims.

It is what it is.
Well, I don't believe the webcast because it isn't true. This has been established now. If the written blog said it was a redoing of pass trajectories, I wouldn't disagree because it doesn't make the claim of being new.

Ok, after this post, we can move on, at least, I will be able to.

It's not if the written blog said redoing, I didn't post that to be a question of if.

I gave you a direct link plus I copied and pasted exactly what the written word said.

That why I said earlier, EA and you agree.

Well, what did the blog say? if it said what you said it said, which was a redoing of pass trajectories then I wouldn't disagree. I guess you just want me to read it for myself? Now this doesn't change the fact that they are advertising 23 new trajectories. This is in their gameplay trailor. Which I believe is a form of advertisement.

Well, I guess now you agree that these trajectories are just improvements. which is what this whole argument was about. Your first post was a response to mine that I believe disagreed with my definition of new, I have since then defined the term and showed how it works within my assertion of pass trajectories not being new to Ncaa football. Now, your just trying to show me that they have advertisements that say its just a redoing of pass trajectories. Which I'm not bothered by.

And how do you know I agree with EA. Have you asked if I agree or are you just putting words in my mouth?

Re: NCAA Football 13 Gameplay Podcast

I'm more offended by the fact there were only 2 trajectories before . Like it took yall 6 games to realize this was bad? lmao. Seriously though I'm happy we can "seemingly" place passes where we want. With the gameplay improvements, the new crowd sounds and commentary, this game ain't sounding to shabby, nowhere NEAR where it SHOULD be but, it ain't sounding too shabby.
