I had PI called twice against the CPU in the demo, which is two more times than I have seen in the past 3 years combined. And both were legitimate PI calls. Luckily I haven't experienced PI on my players that wasn't called, which was caused by the canned animations. So from my experience with the demo, PI doesnt happen nearly as often, but when it does happen it actually gets called instead of being ignored.

This gives me some hope being that the PI slider is more than likely at default for the demo.

Still have yet to see a PI called on me or the cpu after playing many demo games. Anyone else seeing it called?
