I like what they been showin/tellin us but what about IMPROVING the tackling

The thing to keep in mind is that a lot of the tweaking/tuning aspects of the game aren't going to be highlighted right now. Last year, the new tackling system was in the limelight. This year, it's the defense and passing. That doesn't mean everything else is ignored. But they're highlighting the big stuff.

No such thing exists. There's been no mention of improved or even tweaked tackling so far. Like Broncos86 said: tackling was last year's "thing." I doubt they've touched it, and even if they've made little tweaks to it I doubt they'll say much if anything.

Chances are, they've "tuned" it. Honestly, I like the tackling aside from one major gripe: when the ball barrier seems to suddenly hit mud when getting tackled. Momentum is just sapped away. It's annoying to me, especially when it costs me a first down that I should've picked up.

I doubt it went untouched, but I doubt we're going to see anything that's bullet point worthy.

Yeah, that's a good point. The big hits are overdone. I've seen hits and thought "the guy got up?!"

I thought the tackling was worse in Madden when it came down to the frequency of big hits. But NCAA was over the top, too.
