Some other things like players projected draft ratings and the Mock draft have potential but they really didn't elaborate to much on it. For instance a player projected to go in the 1st round should transfer into Madden as such. That same players storyline from NCAA should transfer into M13 commentary.

Coaches should specialize in certain things that affect certain positions progression. Like an O.C. who specializes in QB's should impact all QB's on that team to progress higher than usual. Coaches traits should increase and digress depending on certain statistics and records at the end of every season. Eventually leading to you transferring to the NFL (Hopefully) or possibly being demoted back down to the NCAA.

These are just some examples of the direction I hoped EA was going with "Connected Careers" in Madden and the overlap with NCAA but apparently not.
Actually your coaching prestige will effect how the players overall is effected in training at the end of the season.

Were did you find that piece of information? It should still be tailored to specific positions and attributes. Some coaches are more defensive minded and some more offensive.

Re: Unanswered Dynasty Questions & Discussion

Remember, there will be at least 126 teams (excluding FCSes) in NCAA14. 14 will also be the first 8th-gen game, so it makes sense that there would be a big upgrade then.

Say we want 85 man rosters. 85*126 = 10,710 players on an FBS roster at once. Compare that to NCAA13's 70*123 = 8,610 players. Now recall that there will be a number of recruits greater than or equal to 1/4 of the number of players, and that the FCS schools' rosters would likely remain at 70.

NCAA13: 10,763 players
Proposed NCAA14: 13,738 players

The difference is 2,975 players, or 27.6% of NCAA13, which is easily addable.

The 85 man roster really is a killer on keeping a dynasty fresh for multiple years.

It really prohibits you from redshirting and developing an entire roster. It limits you to a couple of each position instead of being really deep at multiple positions, like most colleges are.

That is one of the more maddening omissions.

He's ASSUMING that we'll see the next-gen consoles next year. Even though they haven't been announced, and if we do see them next year, they usually come out in the fall, thus neither Madden or NCAA would release on them.

But, hey, assuming is fun.

I have been wanting this since they introduce us to CC last year. Maybe next year.

I really am just looking for a definitive answer on this because I don't feel like we've ever really gotten one.

This is a big deal to people that play as 1 & 2 star schools and you have to recruit guys that will be good in 3-4 years but aren't ready to play now.

The people who play only as Bama just don't get it.

My concern is that the guys who make this game are FSU, Michigan, Bama, Auburn all huge schools where not having 85 man rosters isn't an issue because you can just bring in a new recruit who is ready to play.
