I found that I had to sign in before starting the demo to get them to unlock. Signing in once it had loaded didn't do it for me.
Ah, just read your post again and I see you were signed in when you started then got disconnected.

I got plunkett, brown, n archie by playing n winning all 3 games in dynasty. I did those before the rg3 heisman challenge. Maybe thats y. but the way it sounds, u can unlock them by playing as rg3 on the different teams as well.
