hot routes

anyone notice that the hot route that ur WR or TE runs a 5 yrd route and then slates to side line is no longer there, now the TE runs a 3 yrd hitch or what ever its called, is that because it was a cheesey route

Re: hot routes

Against super LBs and psychic DBs, no pass route is cheesy.

Are you guys getting picked off a lot? I have had none of these problems. It also won't let me do a slant toward the sideline anymore.

Re: hot routes

I've only played the demo a couple of times, but no. Haven't tried to do that HR. It used to be left/right on the right stick. Not working?

Now its a route where the wide out runs a couple steps inside, and then turns and runs back toward the sideline. It is a man beater, but it is not as effective as my other route for sure so I was kind of disappointed.

Re: hot routes

Hmm. I know in Madden on the last gen you were able to pick different hot routes, so maybe we'll be able to do that in 13.

I highly doubt. But on the plus side there are a couple of wheel routes that look like they were just a preschooler scribbling lines onto the play.

Re: hot routes

They did that on purpose. Mainly because in REAL LIFE no team ever runs a slant to the side lines. Josh Looman and Larry Richart explained all of this at E3.
