How does everyone get pumped about recruiting?

Every year I read about how recruiting is alot of people's favorite part of the game and that sort of thing. I love NCAA and i play every game in my dynasty for years, but I can just not get into recruiting. Every year I start out excited to recruit, but after like a hour I end up just sorting my who is interested in me and just randomly clicking the first 25 players. I think if I could start loving recruiting it would make ncaa even more fun.

So my question is, how do you guys recruit and what makes it so enjoyable for you?

i love building a team and simming to see how they turn out. i once had a 70+ win streak just simming on one of the older ncaas. recruiting is just as important as xs n os when it comes to college football in real life. i also like taking over teams and completely change it. ex. taking a spread team and making them a power running team

I don't know. I always start out with a cupcake team, so I guess I enjoy building it up into a powerhouse with handpicked recruits.

It gets redundant after becoming a 6-star program, I guess, but I always leave at that point and start anew at another cupcake.

In my blog I've actually requested for additional periods of recruiting.

I think what makes it most enjoyable for me is finding that player I'm really going to enjoy playing with, and other players that match my style.

It's so exciting to win a recruiting battle for a guy, and then finally get him in your hands to see how he performs on the field. Then go when Conference Championships, bowl games, and BCS games with them. You really have an impact on growing your team, especially with smaller schools.

I'm not sure how it feels with larger schools, because if you already have the best players available, I wouldn't think it would be that noticeable.

I get pumped because I take one of the worst teams and try to build them up. When you can snag a highly rated prospect that is going to be a program changer it is more exciting then winning that weeks game to me.

I enjoy the results of recruiting, but the process of getting there in this game is so monotonous. Most of the time I am just smashing buttons as fast as possible.

I like matching my play style. But really if I get that big recruit at a small school...it's like...is this the recruit that puts "UMass" on the map?

Honestly I love recruiting more than playing the games. Something about building your team from the ground up. Battling against bigger programs for a difference maker. I like going over my depth chart and planning exactly what my needs are etc. This year im rolling with FAU, which along with umass is worst in game at a 60. It's gonna be epic and I know that first good commit is going to have legendary status for my dynasty. Hoping for a cb/wr/rb type athlete. Can't wait
