Question about recruiting

Sorry if this has been asked or mentioned I've been looking at a lot of the posts lately and havent seen anything about this. Does anyone know if its at all possible to actually get a good 4 or 5 star recruit or good recruiting class with a bad team? It seemed like last year none of the bad teams could ever get good recruits.

Example: Last year my brother and I started a Dynasty with NIU. We won the national chamionship 2 years in a row (playing on freshman for fun not realism) and we still couldn't even get interest from a 4 star let alone a 5 star.

I like to sometimes do a dynasty (for realism) with a bad team, but its frustrating when its impossible to make them any better.

So does anyone know if this is possible?

I wouldnt say it was impossible last year. It just took atleast several years in game to do it

True, may have been exaggerating. But I did check out recruiting a little bit this year. It seemed better since they have grade changes in pitches and tells you how to improve them. Which makes me think its more possible this year.
