Do You Think Competition Would Solve Alot Of Our Complaints With EA?

You dont think it's a coincidence that NCAA and Madden was so good last generation and this gen they have been down right underwhelming.

Competition is always better immn my opinion. It gives you motivation to be better than that other guy.

You just need to look at EA themselves.

For years on ps1 and ps2 Pro Evoloution soccer was the best soccer game you could buy. Even though FIFA had exclusive rights to teams and leagues while PES had to have made up teams etc.

EA took note of this and has now bypassed PES in being the best soccer game.

Although 2k was the best football game in my opinion I also think this was when madden was at its best. Main reason? Competition

Would competition solve a lot of our complaints? No. Just like any other product, no consumers are gonna be all on one side the fence - there's always gonna something people dont like about the game. All competition would do is give people an out and honestly, with this group, make them a little more pretentious towards EA because they have another option.

Would competition help the overall product EA puts out better? Yes. Goes without saying but it takes two things: Games with longevity that will make EA feel the burn and for us not to immediately bury a new attempt at a game just because it's not perfect out the box.

The reason The Show is such a great game is because it's a PS3 only game. They have people working with the 1 system utilizing it's capabilities to the max. What we get with games on multiple platforms is a watered down version of what it could be. If NCAA were built only on the PS3 i'm sure the quality of the game would be much better. But they need to account for what each system offers.

You say that but economically speaking they'd lose more money by only limiting it to one system and we all know they'd never do that. More the problem is the horrid programming itself. Line play has never been good in this generation and one horrid thing after another.
