I agree. If I have a 4* player drop from a 75 to a 69 and a 2* player go from a 63-69 I still go after the 4* guy as I feel they still progress more. Who knows if true.

I use scouting to determine who is the better player at a position I have a lot of recruits on my board rated closely and not sure which ones I want, athletes and lower tier guys to see if they are a gem or bust.

Good point. It never hurts to have options. Especially if you have similarly rated players at the same position.

I always wait for these threads to make some suggestions and I feel they really missed some potential with a "time saver". I would love to have more than 20 hours in the preseason to scout. I use it to scout out which QB I will offer. Important to any program.

I could use 100 hours in the preseason.
