RTG Question

I am creating teams from who was in my conference when I went to high school and was wondering which stats and such actually matter...I would think that the recruiting pitches dont matter but do the offensive setups and rating all matter?

I have never done RtG before since I hadnt played NCAA for several years until last year again so wanted to try it out this year.

the only things that matter are general, logo, stadium, field and uniforms. you dont have to worry about mascot, program and roster.
