Kick returns etc

Being new to the PS3 and NCAA, have only played Madden 2008 on the PC, and although in a lot of ways the game has improved the CPU/AI on kick/punt ret, blocking FG and Punts still seems bad, kick ret are worse than Madden 08.
so am I likely to see any decent kick/punt ret or blocked FG/EP or punts from the cpu ?

Over the course of thousands of games on NCAA 11/12/13 the only punt block I ever got was on NCAA 13 against a punt from the 1 or 2 yard line (in Coach Mode).

If you are controlling the returner, your best bet is to choose the middle return option and start up the middle, or slightly to one side, and sometimes the coverage team will over-commit and leave one edge open. If you have a *really* fast return man (high 90's on speed) you can return 3+ kickoffs a season. Good punt returns are much harder, but you can do it against a weak team.
