Conference Schedule the same every year?

It's 2018, I'm Ohio State and I realize I've never played some of the teams in the Big 10, like Minnesota and Michigan State. I play the 5 teams from my division, and 3 teams, which are always Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. I haven't been keeping track really, but I feel like it's always the same teams being home or away.

I switched up the divisions two years ago, but it seems like the second year schedule is identical to the first. How can I fix this? Should I remove a team and get rid of divisions? Does it have something to do with protected rivalries? Or am I just doomed?

Odd. I play in a custom conference and have the rotating schedules. But I don't have protected rivalries on, so it's possible it has something to do with that.

Next year I'll try turning them off, and see what happens.
