Re-Alignement by location?

I was going to take the time to do this and remembered someone else had for NCAA 10 I believe. Florida basically had it's own conference as did California.. the name of the game was to re-align the schools by location then simulate forward to see how things ended up. I can't seem to find the save on my computer. I'll take a shot at it if nobody else has this or wants to try.

Wyoming is my one indy team. I wish I didn't need to keep one in there because I really would have liked to keep them in the Mountain West. Also every conference split into divisions has a cross conference rivalry game. I wish we could control the number of games in conference as well. Would love to put the Pac-16 at 10 in conference.

Re: Re-Alignement by location?

When I did something similar to this I had Hawaii as the Independent. Keep WYO with CSU for the border war.

Thought about doing that but then the PAC 16 would have been 15 and I wanted the divisions to be an even number. Trust me I had no idea I had to keep one team as indy. Not until I was creating the conferences did I find this out. I knew each conference needed a minimum of 4 but thought you could eliminate the independents.

Your welcome. lol. I was going to cut and paste it for you but glad someone beat me to it.

BTW, who would have thought the two teams from the Pinstripe bowl would be undefeated heading into the last weekend of September. Good luck with Tech on Saturday.

Re: Re-Alignement by location?

I sort of did the same thing with a few different moves. Here are some of my more major changes.

C-USA: Florida & Cali divisions that include all schools from the respective states.

Big 12: All Texas teams with North & South divisions

MWC: Added teams that were left out of Big 12 and made Mountain & Plains divisions. Also moved BYU, Boise, CSU, and Utah back
