Split National Champion

Has anyone seen this? I had a season end with the championship game between one loss Nebraska and two loss TCU. TCU won 31-28. The #3 team one loss Miami won their bowl game 42-14 over USC. Miami finished #1 in the Media poll and TCU #1 in the coaches poll. Thought that was cool.

I've never had a split that way but three times have had it where an undefeated #1 team loses the BCS Title Game to a 2 loss #2 team and stay at #1 in both polls.

EDIT:
The game awards the winner of the BCS Title game the National Title on the teams info page, but it is pretty cool when it still has split National Champions. Now we just need the 4 team playoff and all will be right in the world.

Funny you post this. I had the situation happen to me a few days ago. I was 14-0 with UMASS (super easy schedule, 1 BCS conference team BC) and was ranked #4 playing against #3 Northwestern in Rose Bowl. I won and a 2 loss USC team beat undefeated Wisconsin and I was first in AP/Media poll and was pissed when I leArned I didn't get the MNC

That's cool but why wasn't the BCS title game against the two one loss teams, Miami and Nebraska in the first place?

I've never seen it but I've seen the one poll have votes go to the 2nd team before after the BCS championship.

4 game playoff? I really think they need to open up the game and allow us to at least have a 16 game playoff. It's our alternate universe.
