Under coach options and coach strategy there is an option for recruiting assistance to turn it ON or OFF, can anyone tell me what this does?

With recruting assistance ON, the CPU will use leftover recruiting points and will use them on recruits as long as there are scholarships available. Most prefer recruting assistance OFF because you might end up wasting a scholarship on a player you don't want. Hope that helped.
