Just got the game, help needed please

I just recently picked up the game ncaa 13 and want to play online. However, when I go to make an EA account, it says its unable to retrieve account information. I haven't even got the chance to download a custom roster or even play in online dynasty. Help would be appreciated

No sir. Bought it brand new.

I can't remember where it is exactly, but there is an access code inside the case for online play. I believe it is on the back of the booklet.
