...has anyone ever received another conference invite? Say I was a MAC school that took a bid from the Big East...years down the road is it possible to get a bid from the Big 10?

I don't think you can get an invite to a better conference once you get to a BCS conference. You can only get thrown out.

I've gotten 2 invites in the same legacy with the same team before. I was North Texas and was invited to go to conf. usa i think, then after 2 or 3 more years, the big 12 invited me. But i think outcast44 is right, you can't get invited to another BCS conference.

Cool, thanks guys. I should have waited another year. Michigan State would have been booted from the Big 10 for sure.
