One thing missing

I am sure that there is a thread out there for this, but o well......

The one thing that I have not seen anyone talk about is scouting reports being added to the game. This would come in handy when playing dynasty and etc because of the players changing and etc. How cool would it be to know some of your opponents strengths and weaknesses.

An example would be like if a DE has been on a tear with the sacks lately. You would know as a play caller to set your strength to that side or chip block him or etc. Same thing for a QB and their favorite WR.

I think that this would add a different level of awesome to this game and it would help online as well to keep people honest a little. Kind of like the NBA 2k tracking system.

What do you guys think about this?

ummm... it kinda already is in the game. when Im in dynasty, I usually look at my next scheduled game, look at "more info" and it shows who all their leading stat players are, along with last game stats. even when the game starts, you can look at the other roster and see who in a hot streak. that along with any impact player is enough for me to figure out who the strengths are and what to expect from a team. granted its not just all laid on a scouting report, but for the most part, the info is there.

I think this would be a critical addition to dynasty. Its in the game but not every aspect of a scouting report. We need more in depth scouting reports.
-run or pass option on 3rd down.
-defensive fronts against formations of personnel
-offensive sets
-tendencies.

Its so much more they can do.

Re: One thing missing

I'll agree with that. but that's a lot to be adding with formation adjustments and all. I think at most they would only give us the stats, injuries, impact players, run/pass slider, aggressiveness slider, and primary offense/defense (ie: instead of specific school playbooks you would see "Oregon: Spread/Zone Read Offense, Multiple Defense)
adding player tendencies would be nice, like how Madden does on the in-game pause screen.
