I only thought it was because Madden was is going to be a One title. And it only comes out a month and a half later.

If the current gen is any indication, we are looking at '16 or '17 for a decent game that has all the features we currently have.

As pessimistic as I want to be, EA Sports is a business and it's unlikely they want the negative PR and backlash they did with the release of the current generation. It gives me hope when members in the company are aware of their earlier failures with this generation but at the same time they want our money and will tell us what we want to hear, so it's really just a game of wait and see.

I feel like the jump to the PS4 and X1 isn't as big of a leap as it was from XB/PS2 to 360/PS3 so I don't think as much will be left out.
