Does wind effect passing????

I know it effects the kicking game but it never seems to me that is matters if you're passing into the wind or not.

Yes, mainly on long bombs...One of my favorite plays is to run the play action counter out of the ace formation ot WR streak and flag routes. It usually works once a game for a 40+ yard gain. Do the pump fake and sometimes you can get a couple steps on the corner. Any I've seen the ball consistantly land 5 yards out of bounds on the sideline route when the wind is 20+ mph. QB accuracy may also play a factor in this, but wind definitely affect the long bomb especially if you lob it.

Yeah usually deep overthrows aren't overthrown by much, but with a strong tailwind I've seen a receiver on a fly pattern get overthrown by a good 10-15 yards.

Ive had a play that I threw a 40 yarder and the ball was looking to fall quite a bit out of bounds and the wind blew it back in bounds and he caught it for the TD.

Is there a way to check the wind anytime? The only time recall seeing a wind meter is while kicking.
