Our remaining schedule
Michigan L

#2 Nebraska w
#10 Ohio State w
Purdue w
Indiana w
#5 Michigan State w
So we finish 11-1. But Michigan loses to Ohio State. Had Michigan beaten Ohio State they would have won the B1G East and faced Nebraska in the B1G title.

But they lost. So I was ranked #2 at 11-1. Behind only Arizona, at 12-0.
Texas was #3, at 11-1.

In ccw, I ended up losing to #12 Nebraska 24-23.

Arizona would play Texas in the Natty. Texas would win 45-31.

We ended up dropping to number 5, and played San Diego State in the Fiesta Bowl. We won 35-13.

Nebraska(11-2) would play Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl and win 38-35.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Starting a new dynasty need 4 more people!!!! Xbox 360

Create a coach
Pick a 1-2 star team
After two years with that team you can accept a new coaching job elsewhere and begin your reign as you climb your way to a 6 star program!

Heisman
Jkit Sliders
Dericksun Rosters 17-18

Rules

1.Sim football
3.Advance time
4.Dropping back
5.Scheduling
6.Player positions
7.Stat padding/running the score up
9.Recruiting
10.Restarts
11.No huddle offense
13.Missed Games
14.Super simming games
15. Fourth down
16. Problems with users
17. Playbooks
19. Disconnects

1.Sim Football: Play sim football. Don`t get caught cheesing. Only go for it on 4th down when appropriate. Play the game the way the game is played in real life. Users are only allowed to move the player they control on defense pre snap within their normal realm of play. Default defensive shifts are allowed.

3.Advance Time: There will be a 48-72 hour advance rule for this league. The advance time will be a strict rule for this dynasty because too many times dynasty`s fall apart because of they don`t get advanced in a timely fashion. The only time I am going to be lenient on this is during the holidays. If everyone gets their games in before the advance time, I will then advance the dynasty early.

4.Dropping back: Do not ever drop back 15-20 yards to throw a pass. There is a difference between scrambling to avoid a sack and deliberately dropping straight back 20 yards (even out of the Shotgun) and then throwing slant routes, etc.

5.Scheduling: There will be no FCs games. I will try to give everyone an out of conference game against a user from the other conference.

6.Player positions: Keep your players where they play in real life. I don`t want to see any crazy substitutions on your team. It`s okay to make some position changes but just don`t crazy with them. Users are only allowed to move the player they control on defense pre snap within their normal realm of play. Default defensive shifts are allowed.

7.Stat padding/running the score up: Keeping your starters in late in games will not be tolerated. Your first string does not need to be in the game in the 4th quarter when you are up by 28+ points. I will be checking to see if people are doing this. I will issue out a warning to whoever is doing it the first time but the second time you will be removed from the dynasty.

8.Microphones: You don`t have to have a microphone for this league. If you want to use one and the other user has one, then great. I personally don`t like talking while I am playing.

9.Recruiting rules: There will be no limit for 5 star recruits.

10.Restarts: I know sometimes that they are going to happen for whatever reason weather its a freeze or your power goes out. Just let me know why you had the restart and replay your game. Don`t make restarts a habit or you will be gone from the league. If I see too many restarts without a valid reason, you will be removed from the league.

11.No huddle offense: Use the no huddle as much as you want to as long as it is used the way is done in real life. That means do not call your team to the line after an incomplete pass, or a play that results in loss of yards.

13.Missed Games: I know that sometimes people are not able to get their games in because of work, school, vacation, or other reasons. Let me know when you are not going to be able to get your game in so that way the league is not being held up. I know games will be missed and that`s not a big deal. However if your are missing more games than you are playing then you will be removed from the league. If a user misses more than 3 games in a season without having a good reason, they will be removed from the dynasty.

14.Super Simming Games: The simming of games in this league is highly discouraged. I know that sometimes it may happen. If you are short on time or something came up then I understand. However there is no need to super sim a game because you have a big lead in the fourth quarter and you don`t want to play anymore. Just finish your game. Put your backups in and set the tempo in your adjustments to conservative so that you are chewing the clock. More often than not super simming causes crazy scores and unrealistic stats for a sim league.

15.4th Down: When it comes to 4th down attempts, you need to play 4th down like a team would in real life. If you are on your side of the field, there is no reason to be going for it unless you are trailing in the 4th quarter. Now if you are in your opponents territory and you are inside the 40 and you want to go for it, I don`t have a problem with that. If you are down in the 4th quarter of a game then I understand you are going to go for it from wherever on the field.

16. Problems with users: If you have a problem with user please pm them with the problem you have. I don`t want to see people in here calling people out or arguing over something that happened in a game. Also if you can`t get your problem fixed with the user or have a problem with they way they are playing just pm me and I will take care of it.

17.Custom Playbooks are allowed.

19. In the event of a disconnect between users in the second half the game will be restarted using the exact time and score remaining. The game will be played through to the point where the original game would have ended. I the event there is a disconnect in the first half the game will be restarted at 0-0. Those who consistently disconnect while losing will be removed

Re: How is your dynasty going

Finished season 2 yesterday with a victory over WKU in the Liberty Bowl. Came down to me having no timeouts and on their 10 yd line and me kicking the game winning FG as time ran out. Probably the best game I have played so far in the Dynasty.

I am still at UTSA. I am 2 years deep into my 4 year contract which part of my "house rules" I have to complete every contract before leaving the school to a new one. I have set my alma mater to Texas. Of course they won the NC and went 17-0. Not gonna make it easy for me to get there it looks like.

My coaching plan is to move on from UTSA when my contract expires and I want to go to another Texas school as a OC and finish out my OC coaching tree. From there I am hoping to get into a HC gig with another Texas school and start my HC tree there. Would like to try and hit a Texas school in different conferences. I started my 2nd season as a 2* and ended it at 3*.

I have a redshirt freshman QB who has decided to rewrite the school record books with me. I am playing coach mode and run a single back spread offense between the Pistol and Shotgun.

Here is how my season shaped up;

Week 1 - @ Houston (L) 51-34
Week 2 - H TCU (L) 55-41
Week 3 @ #25 Boise St. (L) 49-10
Week 5 @ Wyoming (L) 20-18 ( 2 year losing streak against them)
Week 6 H New Mexico (W) 37-24
Week 7 @ New Mexico St (W) 59-27
Week 8 H Texas Tech (W) 34-24
Week 10 N Texas St (W) 50-29
Week 11 H SMU (W) 55-20
Week 12 @ UTEP (W) 26-23
Week 13 H Rice (L) 45-31
Week 14 H North Texas (W) 41-29
CC - @ Texas Tech (W) 44-23
Liberty Bowl H WKU (W) 27-24

Was a exciting season. Defense took a hit this season with out going graduates. This upcoming year is gonna be even worse. Gonna be a lot more shoot outs I am thinking.

I'm liking that Wyoming score. Seems like you found your footing after about game 3 or 4. Schedule softened up a bit also. Houston/TCU/Boise State isn't an easy opening for UTSA. Congrats on taking down the Toppers in the Liberty Bowl. Let's see what year 3 has to offer.

Re: How is your dynasty going

A cool thing is going on with my Cal dynasty, Stanford has become a superpower.

I usually do a 5 year plan with a team and then bolt in the carousel and schedule my previous team which typically ends in my new team getting smacked around lol.

I was in year 4, undefeated and ranked #1, played the big Stanford/Cal game and got smacked all over the field. Not sure what the final score was but I remember putting together a really nice opening drive only to see them return the ensuing kickoff for a TD, then get a pick 6 on my first play after that, and the avalanche was on. I wanna say the final was like 56-28, I put some offense up late but overall I was dominated.

I didn't drop far in the rankings and had a strong Notre Dame team still on the schedule, took care of them, Stanford took care of whoever they played in the pac12 championship, and low and behold the football gods matched us up for a rematch in the BCS championship.

Cal took the rematch by 10, and the media/coaches/BCS basically told me to **** off and all voted Stanford #1 in the final polls anyway lol, I was a paper champion I guess.

Now in my crucial year 5, Stanford is preseason #1 and Cal #2. I'm half tempted to not actually bolt after my 5th year because this is pretty cool watching this develop

No, they are the paper champion. You won the on the field in the game that determines the national championship. Remember Bama-LSU a handful of years back. The Tigers won during the regular season and then Bama won the NCG. The voting is broken in both real life and the game. Congrats on your championship and your fierce rivalry.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Penn State 2018-2019 Finished

Coming off our 11-2 season and Fiesta Bowl win over San Diego State, we start as the pre-season #2 team, behind Alabama.

We wipe through our schedule, winning a few close games, eg. Nebraska final was 24-23.

We finish the regular season as 12-0, sitting at #1. Right behind us was 12-0 Oregon and 12-0 Fresno State.

Around the BCS, Navy and Army both finished in the top 10. Navy at 9-2, Army at 11-1 with their sole loss coming to Navy. Funny, because Army was actually ranked at #2 ahead of Oregon before that loss, they had some key wins against teams like Oklahoma that propelled them.

Anyways, we beat Iowa 17-0 in the B1G Championship.

Oregon beats USC. Air Force beats Fresno State.

So their was no doubt about it, Penn State and Oregon were #1 and #2.

We go up 28-0 against Oregon, and end up winning the game 35-14.

Around the BCS

#23 Oklahoma beats #7 Navy in the Fiesta Bowl.
#5 Wake Forest beats #6 Army in the Orange Bowl.
#7 Notre Dame beats #3 Alabama in the Rose Bowl.
#4 Texas beats #10 Texas A&M in the Sugar Bowl.

Heading into 2019

I moved SMU and West Virginia from the AAC to the Big-12.
Now the Big-12 is formatted like so.
North - Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, West Virginia, Iowa State
South - Texas, TCU, Baylor, SMU, Houston, Texas Tech
Protected Rivals are on, to keep the Red River Showdown.

After their breakout seasons, I moved Navy and Army to the AAC to give them more relevancy, considering that these two teams always seem to succeed in NCAA Dynasties.

Now, the AAC has 10 teams - Notre Dame, Army, Navy, Connecticut, Temple, USF, UCF, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Cincinnati.

Penn State Dynasty Past BCS Champs
2013 - Alabama defeats Ohio State in BCS
2014 - Penn State defeats Texas in BCS
2015 - Penn State defeats Notre Dame in BCS
2016 - Penn State defeats Texas in BCS
2017 - Texas defeats Arizona in BCS
2018 - Penn State defeats Oregon in BCS

2019-2020

We are pre-season #1. Alabama is pre-season #2.

We play Alabama in week 1, Chik-Fil-A Kickoff. Should be electric.
