Best Recruit(s) You've Gotten so Far

Highest rated recruit I have gotten so far besides kicker/punter was an 81 overall, I think on NCAA13 my highest was an 86.

I try not to pay attention to patterns, but they were so obvious in NCAA13. I would see a recruit that had the EXACT SAME position, height, weight, 40 time, etc as someone I had signed in a previous class. Sure enough they'd have the same EXACT ratings as well. Please tell me no one has noticed that awful pattern in NCAA14. It was so hard to play it straight when I knew right away if they were a stud or a complete bust. I at least want some suspense until I scout them.

I haven't noticed this so far, but I will certainly keep an eye out for it.

I hate the whole gem/bust thing. Not the concept itself, I love the concept, I just think the words should be changed to overrated/underrated, instead. Because I have seen plenty of recruits who started out as an 87 or 88 OVR before scouting, but then drop 9 points afterwards to a 78 or 79 OVR and they are considered "busts". By no means are these players busts, they are very talented, they were just a bit overrated.

I agree with whoever said the scouts should just give a range of overall ratings for a recruit, rather than the exact ratings. For example, instead of giving an exact rating of 75 OVR for a 4* WR, it would be cool to see a 72-77 OVR range after being fully scouted. They could easily add this as a part of the recruiting tree for a HC. Oh well, plenty of other issues that need to be fixed first before this can be considered.

Honestly a really great idea. Sadly we will never see this in the game.
