Realistic game time?

Haven't played a football game since Madden 09. What would you guys say is the best game clock time to get realistic stats with default rosters?

Re: Realistic game time?

I think 7-9, depending on your style

7 mins will prolly give around 90-100 total plays

8 mins prolly around 110-120

9 mins prolly around 120-130

Rough estimates, coming from a balanced offensive perspective. Probably add 10-20 plays if some all hurry-up all game

Re: Realistic game time?

8 minutes seems to be my sweet spot, especially against no huddle teams.

I play coach mode and can get around 90 plays on 6-minute quarters!

Re: Realistic game time?

Thanks for the replies. I've been finding most success with 7 minutes quarters.

7 will put you right where you wanna be but personal preference for me is a shorter game so when I do play I can get a game in fairly quickly. With 6 minutes the stats still come out pretty good for coach mode.

Re: Realistic game time?

I run a run-heavy ball control offense so 9 is perfect for me. All depends on your personal preference and playing style.
