I'm currently battling Arizona for a recruit (I'm ASU). If I throw 500 points towards him and I have more bonus points than Arizona, how is it possible that they gained points on my lead? Can the CPU throw more than 500 points towards a recruit?

The 'kitchen sink' coach skill lets you assign more points.

Thanks! Clearly, I was having a brain fart. I forgot that I was a level 1 coach and the other coaches have their appropriate level.
