Spread Option Attack Issue

In my dynasty I am currently using a spread option attack. Like Ohio State & Oregon problem is the cpu can't really stop me at all. My qb who is like a 81 speed and a 77 acceleration averages about 8 to 10 yards per carry. I've tried lowering my run block to 0. Put RB ablity at 25 and put Rush D all the way to 100.

Is anyone else seeing this issue as well? or have a solution besides not running a spread option attack.

Also, what speed threshold do you use

This topic has nearly been beaten to death. They overpowered the spread option running game this year and we are basically waiting on a patch. Go to the sliders sub forum, there are a few decent sets that will help curb this, but you will still run for 200+ yards a game on 5 minute quarters typically.

Yeah on Heisman 0 speed threshold. I use SEC's slider set

Yes! Same here! I ran this with Illinois and won the Nat Champ game on Heisman O and D, then realized it was too easy so I switched to pro, the. Realized ill be running pro in madden so thaw wouldn't be fun, then I switched back to spread option about 4 games in. I'm going to go flex one until this issue is fixed.

It's been trying on my players, having to learn 3 entirely new playbooks mid season haha

Until a patch comes out you probably need to hit the lab and test out different combos of penalties/sliders/threshold until you see improvement. Depending on the player, certain combos can work help mitigate the issue. It does need a patch, or tuner (whatever), but you have options until then.

Guess I'll just have to use a different offense until a patch hopefully comes out to fix it. Then I can start my real setup lol. Sucks though I was all pumped up till I beat Penn State and ran all over them.
