For the first time in probably 6 years I will actually consider looking at what Madden has to offer this year. Unless they have totally revamped the GM aspects of Franchise/whatever it's called mode then I won't even consider it.

I bought NCAA every year for a decade, but had stopped buying Madden the last few years. Since I just bought a PS4 and I'd like a football game, I'll probably end up getting it at some point early in the NFL season.

Re: Will Madden Sales be Lowered Due to NCAA Cancellation?

In my opinion, inevitably the sales will go up. I would take NCAAs product over Madden any year for the past 5-10 years. But without NCAA, Madden becomes the only remaining option for football.

So those buying NCAA to get their football fix will probably have no choice but to turn to Madden this year.

I am definitely going to miss NCAA.

I haven't purchased Madden since the early 2000's. NCAA has been a must buy for me for many many years. Now, I may consider Madden since it is my only choice, but I really do not care about the NFL much for it to be real exciting.

I think the opposite, most people think about college football and the majority buy madden, it's like religious even if you don't like it you still buy it. Madden sales should only go up because there's no other options and those who liked college football to get their fix will have to buy madden.

Madden will probably increase, though I am sure they will lose some buys from people who only wanted to play with their NCAA players in the pros. You can count me in on that demographic, though I haven't bought a Madden since they stopped having real formation subs.
