Re: Looking For Feedback On Schools Greatest Teams

1997 team had a lot of talent. I think every single starter on the defense played in the NFL: Woodson, Glen Steele, James Hall, Ian Gold, Andre Weathers, and of course Woodson. The offense probably would have been a lot better if Streets weren't hurt for most of the year. They had Jeff Backus, Steve Hutchinson, and Jon Jansen on the offensive line.

Rest of the Big Ten:

Illinois-1983 or 1989
Indiana-1988
Iowa-1985 or 2002
Minnesota-2003
Northwestern-1995
Purdue-2001
Wisconsin-1993 or 1998

Didn't Michigan go 9-0-3 one year?

I have the ESPN Football Encyclopedia and it has a section for each school's best team, I'll list them if u want

Michigan team was loaded....I had forgotten how much talent they had. Real good list, I had:
83 Illinois
67 Indiana(lost in Rose Bowl I believe)
85 Iowa(great team with Chuck Long/Ronnie Harmon)
03 Minnesota(Maroney/Barber)
95 Northwestern
66 Purdue( Only teams lost to were Mich St. and Notre Dame, 2 of best teams ever)
98 Wisconsin(Dayne was unstoppable)

Texas Tech 1953, 1973, or 2008. 2008 would probably be the most fun.

Re: Looking For Feedback On Schools Greatest Teams

Are you planning on turning these into a roster? I would be happy to help with that.

I'm basically researching right now in the hope of releasing a roster with the each college's best teams. There is no timeline for completing this because of how much research and time will go into it, so it may be something that I work on for the next year. I also want it to be as historically accurate as possible so I plan on reaching out to some of the awesome roster makers on here and see if they will lend their expertise on ratings. Thanks for the offer but for now I'm just working on compiling rosters/depth charts/info/stats
