Composer is indeed a great feature, one we didnt see coming. Next question begs, how much of what happens on the field will actually impact composer meters. The QB taking hits? Good question. And i could think of a few more. Maybe E3 will shed some light on this question.

I wouldn't call it a gimmick - its more like a closer step to reality.

I totally agree! But most importantly I LOVE your avatar!!

agreed.

I hate it when in my 3rd yr of dynasty, I cut seniors and half of my starters are sophmores and freshman.

I don't think I am the first one to user it here.. in fact, I thought you used it once before when you took down Mattingly.

"Fluff" gets a bad wrap. I love the Fluff. Infact I will go as far as to say that the fluff in NCAA takes a decent football game, and makes it the best console sports game out there. Take away the Fight Songs, Bowls, Helmet Stickers, Rivalries, SI feature, etc, I would be much less forgiving of some of the gameplay issues like lack of CPU running, exaggerated momentum and several plays with inappropriate success/fail percentages.

Just thought of something that will be awesome if it is implemented with the "new Fluff" In 2004 I have played games were I knocked out the #1 QB only to have the 67 rated backup throw for 250 yards in the 2nd half while being hit on a huge number of plays. With the new composure rating this should not happen or at least happen far less. I concur with previous posts that this is not Fluff but a great step to making NCAA more of a Sim...

The backup QB domination wouldn't be so bad if Throwing power actually affected how hard you throw the ball instead of how far you can throw the ball. There needs to be two separate ratings for that. If the QB can't put as much zip on the ball, he becomes much less effective.
