I saw this thread and all i could think about was
all you cheesers.. that drop back in the pocket, and wait
for the linemen to commit and then roll out....
and then eithr run with the qb or pass it when
the d-back commits to tackling the QB..

CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!!

I'd say that 90% of these so called "athletic quarterbacks" look to take off and run the ball if they don't like what the see down the field. Brad Smith had 291 yards rushing vs Texas Tech doing this. Many of his runs in that game were predetermined though.

Exactly, Missouri runs the play from the Clemson playbook (NCAA 2004) under the ace shotgun formation. They run the play where you have the option of giving to the back who comes accross or keep it with Smith. As a Missouri fan, Smith usually keeps it and just runs and runs and runs and runs and runs...

Don't forget about Michael Robinson from Penn State. He was one of the fastest QB's in last years game too.

Re: Fastest QB in 2005

We(Iowa) have a QB who played some WR last season.

Definitely a QB this year. So I pray Iowa has a fast one this season.
