One thing that has NOT been discussed: "Mindreader" AI Defense

As cheap as it is to be able to "rapid fire" audibles at the line 18 times in a row....

It is just as cheap that EA has programmed in a "mindreader" defense for the CPU.

We all know what I am talking about...

You come out in Ace Normal with a run to the left called....the defense shifts to the left. You audible to a run to the right...WITHOUT ANYONE MOVING....

Amazingly..the CPU shifts to the right.

You come out in Shogtun with HB Direct called or a Draw play called...the Computer is in 4-3. You come out in Shotgun with a Pass play called...The CPU is in Dime or Nickel.

That's flat out CHEATING EA.

Anyway...I pray that this is addressed in NCAA 2005.

I know what you mean! I haven't played for the longest time until last night! I had to quit because of the cpu knew every play I was going to run!

good point AA. Here was my situation just the other night. I am on the 2 yard line, and i come out in the shotgun with 4 wide (2 WR's on each side). I had called a HB draw play and the CPU lines up with 9 guys in the middle of my o-line, only covering 2 of my WR's. i get stopped on the 1 yard line. I come out on the next play with the same formation except i call a pass play. the CPU lines up in a freaking dime defense. needless to say i just audibled to my HB draw play, but the CPU audibled back to their 9 man defensive line front. are you kidding me? Nostradamus must have been walking the sidelines for the other team.

I agree. Computer must have a guy on his side with Binocs scoping our plays as they are called in!!!
